Diamond Phoenix Instrumental in Expansion.

July 17, 2004 -- Diamond Phoenix, leaders in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art order fulfilment solutions, have recently supplied technology that will be central to the manufacturing operations of world leading scientific instrument manufacturer TA Instruments.

The relocation of TA Instruments' manufacturing facilities in Crawley, West Sussex, to a site almost double in size gave the company the opportunity to review their storage capacity and to re-design their production processes.

Chris Godfrey, Manufacturing Site Manager for TA Instruments explains: "We had a number of options open to us when we were reviewing the issue of storage. It was important for us to maximise capacity and both racking and overhead storage were impractical. The vertical lift module from Diamond Phoenix was the perfect storage solution."

TA Instruments' thermal analysis and rheometer systems have set the performance standards of the industry for over 20 years and are renowned for being innovative, accurate, easy-to-use, and reliable. Demanding similar standards of their suppliers, Diamond Phoenix was selected as their ideal partner in the project and their Vertical Lift Module was recommend and installed.

Based on proven technology, the Vertical Lift Module automates the delivery of items to the operator at a customised, ergonomically correct waist-high position. Not only does this help to maximise productivity but also reduces the need for climbing, bending or reaching for heavy or dangerous objects.
